Barefoot Try-On Event

After the success of our barefoot try-on event in Salford last year, we are back with another try-on event later this year as we head to the midlands and The Village Hotel in Dudley. We will have lots of lovely barefoot shoes for you to try-on and purchase from brands such as Be Lenka, Peerko, Froddo, Shapen, Xero and lots more. If you are looking to refresh your barefoot shoe collection for Autumn/Winter 2024 then this is the perfect opportunity to do so. All the details you need for the event are below.

Date & Time

The event will be held on Saturday 12th October 2024.

The event will be split into morning and afternoon sessions.

• Morning Session – 10am - 12.30pm
• Afternoon Session – 1.30pm - 4pm

Ticket Information

Tickets available to buy for each session are priced at £5 per adult and £5 per child, (under 1yrs are free) per session. The £5 ticket is redeemable against purchases on the day.

By Bus

The closest Bus stop is Castlegate Drive which is a 6 min (0.3 mile) walk.

You can take the 126 bus to Castlegate Drive from Dudley Bus Station.

The Village Hotel is 0.7 miles from Dudley Bus Station.

By Train

There are two local train stations of Dudley Port and Sandwell & Dudley. Both stations are on the West Coast Mainline and are accessible from Birmingham New Street Station. Every train will stop at both stops.

Dudley Port - 1.4 miles away

From Dudley Port station, you can get the 74 bus to Castlegate Drive and The Village hotel is a 6 min walk (0.3 mile walk).

Sandwell & Dudley Train Station – 3.3 miles away

From Sandwell & Dudley station you can walk 8 mins (0.3 miles) to Sandwell Council House and take the 87 Platinum bus to Castlegate Drive. The Village hotel is a 6 min (0.3 mile walk) from here.

By Car

The closest motorway junctions are:

Exit 10 of the M6

Exit 2 of the M5

25 mins drive from Birmingham City Centre

20 mins drive from Wolverhampton City Centre

Parking

Parking is free at the hotel and there is a large carpark with plenty of space at the front of the hotel.

Refreshments & Eateries

Within the hotel, in the lobby, there is a Starbucks and a Pub & Grill. The Pub & Grill serves food from 12pm.

Adjacent to the hotel is a KFC and a large Tesco Extra.

Local Attractions

If you would like to make a day of it  Dudley Zoo and Castle is a 7 min drive away from the hotel. Open everyday from 10am. Last admissions at 3pm, the grounds close at 5.30pm
