What to look for in a slipper.... Many children pull off their socks along with their shoes the minute they arrive home, or indeed whenever they can! They’re following a great natural instinct to be barefoot and ideally children should be barefoot in the home as much as possible. However in the depths of winter and with stone and wooden floors this may not be ideal. The requirement therefore is for something non-slip, breathable and warm that doesn’t restrict the foot too much or hinder natural movement. This is the place for the most minimalist of footwear and a well fitting non-slip sock or moccasin type slipper is all that is needed and therefore ideal.
