Barefoot Try-On Event

After the success of our barefoot try-on events in Salford in 2023, Dudley in 2024 and Solihull earlier this year in May, we are delighted to confirm our next Try & Buy event in Bristol this October which we will be hosting over two days! 

Autumn/Winter - Bristol - 11th & 12th October

Full details of the Autumn/Winter event are below. We will have lots of lovely barefoot shoes for you to try on and purchase from brands such as Be Lenka, Peerko, Froddo, Shapen, Xero and lots more. If you are looking to refresh your Autumn/Winter barefoot shoe collection for then this is the perfect opportunity to do so.

Date & Time

The event will be held on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October.

The event will be split into morning and afternoon sessions.

  • Morning Session – 10am - 12.30pm
  • Afternoon Session – 1.30pm - 4pm

The event will be held in the Anglican Chapel:

Arnos Vale Cemetery,

Bath Road,

Vehicle gates, Bath Road are open 9am-5pm

The venue is wheelchair accessible. 

Ticket Information

Tickets available to buy for each session are priced at £5 per adult and £5 per child, (under 1yrs are free) per session. The £5 ticket is redeemable against purchases on the day.

By train  

The nearest station is Temple Meads, a mile to the west

By bus 

 Services 1, X39, 57, 178 and 349 stop by the Bath Road gates

By car  

Use postcode BS4 3EW for the main Bath Road entrance.  

Parking

There is limited parking in from of the cafe and main buildings. There's also parking nearby in the shopping area by McDonalds opposite Arnos Hotel - 5 mins.

Arnos Vale is outside Bristol's Bristol's Clean Air Zone but please be aware of it if you're coming from city centre.

Access information

The historic nature of the site and the sloping landscape mean that not all spaces are fully accessible.

  • Blue badge parking spaces are at each chapel
  • The Ceremonial Way leading from the main gates to the Anglican Chapel, Spielman Centre and Café, is flat and tarmacked
  • Café and Spielman Centre have sloped access with handrails
  • Accessible toilet at Spielman (lift access) 
  • Ramp access to both the West Lodge (Books of Remembrance room) and the East Lodge (shop and reception).

On site Cafe in the Spielman Centre | Open daily   10am -4pm  

Visitor toilets are located at The Spielman Centre.

Local Attractions

If you would like to make a day of it Tree Tops High Ropes Adventrue Bristol is 4.2 miles and 20 mins drive away. Bristol City Centre is also a 15 min drive away.
