Who are Peerko?
Peerko's story began in 2018 with a crowdfunding project that was embraced by the barefoot community from the start, a fitting origin for a brand built on word of mouth and genuine conviction. A Czech company, they launched with simple minimalist canvas designs before introducing their first leather styles in 2020.
From the beginning, the approach has been collaborative. Peerko's designers work closely with physiotherapists to ensure every style genuinely supports natural movement, not as a marketing claim, but as part of the design process. Every pair is made in small, family-run workshops within the EU, right down to the soles and laces, where the focus stays on quality, careful craftsmanship, and fair working conditions.
