The PLAE Emme in Black is a classic Mary Jane school shoe that combines school-ready style with athletic performance and everyday comfort. Designed with barefoot-inspired principles, this lightweight shoe is crafted from durable ballistic nylon and eco-friendly suede, providing long-lasting wear without weighing little feet down. It's ideal for busy school days, playground fun and weekend adventures.
PLAE designs every shoe to follow the natural shape of a child's foot, supporting healthy foot development. The flat, thin and flexible sole features dynamic traction treads to provide excellent grip, helping children stay active and confident on a variety of surfaces.
Additional features include durable toe guards for extra protection during play and wicking, washable antimicrobial inserts to help keep feet fresh and comfortable throughout the school day.
What makes the PLAE Emme especially versatile is its customisable Velcro tab. This allows parents to adjust the fit for narrower or wider feet while giving children the opportunity to personalise their shoes with interchangeable tabs, available separately.

We dispatch orders Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and between Christmas Eve and New Years Day when our warehouse is closed. All orders placed before 12noon will be dispatched the same day and any orders placed after this time will be dispatched the next working day.
