Review. Peerko Adults Frost Boots Royal
As a Senior Physiotherapist with over 15 years experience in the NHS and the private sector. I have a particular interest in treating foot and ankle issues and am a member of The Association of Foot & Ankle Physiotherapists here in the UK.
I developed an interest in barefoot shoes in my early 20’s and have been wearing minimalist shoes ever since. I’ve always found it tricky to find a stylish, feminine barefoot boot.
The look
Peerko Adult Frost Boots Royal
I think the look of the Peerko boots is great. The colour and style always attract compliments whenever I wear them and they pair well with trousers, dresses and skirts. Whether I’m dressing them up or down, they’ve quickly become a wardrobe staple—so much so that they've already overtaken my Vivobarefoot boots in terms of wear.
Sole and Materials
The sole is thin, flexible, and moves beautifully with my feet. I typically need to add a thermal insole to most shoes to keep my feet warm, but these boots are lined with soft sheep fleece, which keeps my feet toasty without any extra layers. The traction on the sole is great—it’s worn very well over the past six months, showing no sign of losing its grip, even in icy conditions. I’ve also worn them in the rain and accidentally walked through deep puddles, and I was pleasantly surprised that my feet stayed dry.
Sizing and Fit

I find these boots to be true to size. The warm lining means I’ve never needed to add extra socks, though if you tend to have very cold feet, you might consider sizing up. While the toe box isn’t the roomiest, it still allows for good movement, and there’s plenty of space for my big toe to move freely. The laces are a nice touch—they allow you to adjust the fit around the ankle and arch to be either looser or snugger depending on your preference. I’ve particularly appreciated this feature when wearing them with tights instead of socks.
Weight

These boots are surprisingly light for a winter boot. At first, I was a little sceptical about how warm they’d be due to their lightness, but I was happy to be proven wrong. They provide more than enough warmth for autumn and winter, without feeling heavy or cumbersome.
Overall impressions

The Peerko Frost Boots have turned out to be an unexpectedly impressive pair of boots. They’ve quickly become my go-to footwear for autumn and winter, and they’ve held up remarkably well. The sole looks as good as new, and the wool lining only shows some light wear after months of use. Overall, these boots are beautiful, comfortable, and versatile. I’d highly recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable and stylish winter boot.
